Often a family’s first introduction to Little League®, providing a Tee Ball experience that is grounded in fun, fitness, and fundamentals is key to growing a child’s love for the game. To aid leagues in providing a positive introduction to baseball and softball, Little League developed a 10-week curriculum that has been shown to improve the experience for players, parents, and coaches. All chartered teams are provided with a free printed copy of the curriculum, which is also available free of charge on LittleLeagueU.org. Leagues, coaches, and parents are encouraged to use this Curriculum in conjunction with the resources below to provide a fulfilling Little League experience.

Welcome to West Shore Tee Ball
Here is an overview of the local program.

1. The league provides a hat & uniform shirt to keep and the use of tee ball bats, tees and helmets. You are more than welcome to buy your own helmet if you don't want your child to share helmets.

2. Practice time is chosen by the coach/manager at the beginning of the season. This is a good reason to be the manager.

3. Games are played Monday -Saturday. Monday-Friday games will start at 5:30 or 6  when it becomes light enough and last about 1 hour or 3 innings. Saturday games start around 9 and will go all day long.

4. All games are played in Lakeport

5. We try and put kids from the same school or area on the same team to help with rides to practice and games.

6. Teams in Upper Lake, Lucerne and Nice can practice in those cities if the manager would like. Another good reason to volunteer

7. Practice will start at the end of February after the older kids' draft.

8. Opening Day is on 3/16/2024 and will be held at Pickle Field this year.

9. The season will go to the end of May.
